Confessing and Glorifying God's Greatness

Divine salvation through Jesus Christ

The limitations of the law to transform us spiritually

We owe an eternal debt of gratitude to our Creator, who has bestowed upon us unwavering love and hope. Through His Only Beloved Son, Jesus Christ, God accomplished what the law could not, which is saving us from the overpowering sin and redeeming us from hopelessness.

And even though the law was well-intentioned, but it proved powerless to draw us closer to God. It was weakened by our fleshly nature, and therefore unable to direct humanistic will towards goodness.

God, in His infinite love, sent His beloved Son to bridge this gap, as Romans 8:3 states, "God sent His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to condemn sin in the flesh." Jesus' life on earth demonstrated that it's possible to live righteously amidst a sinful world.

Therefore, through Christ:

  • Sin was condemned in the flesh.
  • Death was conquered.

Now we should glorify God by embracing all his goodness and mercy.

Here are some scriptural references for your guide in knowing God’s goodness to us:

  • Romans 8:3
  • Hebrews 7:18-19
  • Galatians 3:21-22
  • 2 Corinthians 5:21

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father, we confess your greatness and majesty. Thank You for sending your son, Jesus Christ to save us from sin and restore our hope. May our lives reflect only glory and righteousness given through knowing you, Lord.
