In Psalm 121:1-2, the psalmist writes, "I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth." In the midst of grievous moments, I entrust my life into Your care.
Hold me up and strengthen me, for my own resources are insufficient.
My heart is heavy, weighed down by the deceit and masks of those around me.
I am consumed by rage, disgust, and sorrow, and my desire to pray is wavering.
Please, Lord, look upon the deceivers who use their words to manipulate and harm.
Fix me for Your will, deliver my steps from dark traps.
Let my life be a reflection of Your life, and grant me the help I desire.
